These shoes are absolutely beautiful, but they are very uncomfortable. I bought these shoes to wear for my wedding becuase they looked stunning with my ivory gown with beaded bodice. I only wore them down the asile, during the ceremony and for pictures. I changed into a different dress and different shoes for the reception and the dancing. For what I wanted, the perfect look on my wedding day, they served me well; however, if you are considering them to wear for long periods of time, then, reconsider. They do not have much arch support or padding and are a bit tight at the toes. So, this is definately not a shoe for walking around town or dancing, but if you are going for a "wow factor" look and can deal with a little discomfort, then, this shoe will not disappoint. The design gets a 5 and a 2 for comfort which averages to a 3.5, but since I can only rate in whole numbers, I give them a 4. Afterall, they were my wedding shoes.
